Biography
Executive Chairman with over 30 years leading Venture Group from startup to global technology services provider. Former Managing Director and CEO. Career began at Hewlett-Packard with management roles at North American headquarters and startup support for HP Singapore and Malaysia. Past directorships include Singapore Exchange Limited, DBS Bank Ltd, Economic Development Board of Singapore, Enterprise Singapore, and Chairman of NUS Board of Trustees (2004-2016). Member of Constitutional Commission (2016) and Ministerial Salary Review Committee (2011). Awards include Businessman of the Year (1998), Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (2002), Asiamoney Best CEO Award (2004), Meritorious Service Medal (2012), Distinguished Service Order (2018), and NUS Eminent Alumni Award (2017).
