Biography

66 years old. Appointed 1 January 2022. Bachelor of Accountancy from National University of Singapore (1983). Previously Independent Director of Neuberger Berman (China) before stepping down 30 June 2022. With Rabobank from January 2010 to December 2020, holding positions including CEO Rabobank Singapore (2010-2011), CEO Rabobank Hong Kong (2011-2012), and Vice Chairman and Regional Head Global Corporate Clients Asia (from 2012 until December 2020 retirement). Prior senior roles at Royal Bank of Scotland (2003-2009), Citigroup (2000-2002), and ABN-AMRO Bank (1986-2000). Started career at Chemical Bank (1983-1986) as Management Associate in New York and Deputy Representative in Indonesia.
