Over 40 years of public sector experience. Former Executive Chairman of Economic Development Board, A*Star, Chairman of SPRING Singapore. Awarded Public Administration Medal (Silver) 1974, Public Administration Medal (Gold) 1982, Meritorious Service Medal 1991, Order of Nila Utama (First Class) 2006. Recipient of Indonesian Bintang Jana Tama 1994, Japanese Order of the Rising Sun 2007, Singapore Labour Movement Distinguished Service (Star) award 2008. Currently Chairman of Economic Development Innovations Singapore, Accuron Technologies Limited, Advanced MedTech Holdings.
