Biography
Extensive experience in real estate business since late 1960s. Grew CDL's hospitality arm into Singapore's largest international hotel group. Experience in finance, trading and manufacturing sectors. Numerous accolades including Businessman of the Year 1996, REDAS Lifetime Achievement Award 2014, SCCCI SG50 Outstanding Chinese Business Pioneers Award 2015, HICAP Lifetime Achievement Award 2015, Asia Pacific Entrepreneurship Awards Lifetime Achievement Award 2017, Global Blue Ocean Shift Award 2017, Singapore Tatler Diamond Award 2018, EY Family Business Award of Excellence 2020.
