Previously Executive Chairman of Allgreen Properties Limited, Managing Director of Shangri-La Hotels (Malaysia) Berhad, and Director of Kuok Brothers Sdn Bhd. Currently Chairman of Yale-NUS College Governing Board. Notable contributions to education, tourism, healthcare, arts and environment through various organizational roles including Singapore Business Federation, The Council for Board Diversity, Singapore Tourism Board, NUS Board of Trustees, National Arts Council, and others. Recipient of Distinguished Service Order (2023), Meritorious Service Medal (2015), Public Service Star (2005), and Public Service Medal (1998) from President of Singapore.
