Biography
Director & Chief Executive Officer of ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute. Chairman and Board Member of SP Services Limited. Board member of St Andrew's Mission Hospital. Member of National Records Advisory Committee and Singapore Nuclear Research and Safety Initiative Management Board at NUS. Retired from Civil Service in October 2017 after serving as Permanent Secretary of Ministry of Environment and Water Resources for 5 years, Ministry of Transport for 7 years, and senior position at Ministry of Defence. Held various command and staff appointments in Singapore Armed Forces, promoted to Brigadier-General in 1996. Awarded Public Administration Medal (Silver) in 1993 and Meritorious Service Medal in 2000.
