Sunny George Verghese
Co-founded Olam after being mandated by Kewalram Chanrai Group to build an agricultural products business. Started career with Unilever in India before joining KC Group in 1989. Previously Chair of CitySpring Infrastructure Management Pte. Ltd and Commissioner of Business & Sustainable Development Commission. Held role of Chairman of International Enterprise Singapore and served on Board of Trustees of NUS. Won several awards including Outstanding Chief Executive at Singapore Business Awards 2007, Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year 2008, and Best CEO of the Year 2011. Awarded Public Service Medal by Government of Singapore in 2010.
