Chairman of DBS Bank (China) Limited. Career began as auditor with KPMG in 1975 in Houston, USA. Covered wide range of industries. Retired in 2007 as Co-Chairman of KPMG, China and Hong Kong. Regarded as KPMG's China business specialist. Advised on China's offshore oil industry, participated in formation of China's taxation system, involved in initial public offerings (IPOs) of Chinese companies, assisted foreign companies with investments in China. In 1990s, commissioned by Chinese Government to lead team performing feasibility study of Chinese aviation industry aimed at restructuring ahead of airline IPOs. Currently Director of DBS Bank (Hong Kong) Limited, Hang Lung Properties Limited and Underwriters Laboratories Inc. Past Member of Corruption Prevention Advisory Committee of Hong Kong's Independent Commission Against Corruption. Past Member of Hong Kong's Insurance Advisory Committee.
